William Lander (May 8, 1817 - January 8, 1868) was a prominent North Carolina politician. He was born in County Tipperary, Ireland and later emigrated to the United States, settling in Lincoln County, North Carolina. He was a state legislator in 1852, was a delegate to the 1860 Democratic national convention and was a delegate to the 1861 state constitutional convention. He represented the state in the First Confederate Congress from 1862 to 1864.
