The 10th Regiment Michigan Volunteer Cavalry was an cavalry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.


The 10th Michigan Cavalry was organized at Grand Rapids, Michigan between September 18 and November 23, 1863.

The regiment was mustered out of service on November 11, 1865.

Total strength and casualties[]

The regiment suffered 2 officers and 29 enlisted men killed in action or mortally wounded and 240 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 271 fatalities.[1]
